Position: Manager/Senior Manager – Design Coordinator (Structure)
Job Location: Head Office in Gurgaon
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in Building/Metro Projects.
- Qualification: M. Tech (Civil Engineering) from a recognized university/technical board is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine design plans and specifications for building construction projects.
- Review architectural drawings, engineering plans, and other design documents for accuracy, compliance with building codes, and alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate the review and approval of design changes, assessing the impact on project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for design-related inquiries and updates, maintaining open communication channels between project team members, clients, and other external stakeholders.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Monitor the progress of design activities, identify potential bottlenecks or delays, and take proactive measures to keep the project on schedule.
- Conduct regular reviews of design deliverables to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
- Identify and address design-related issues and conflicts in a timely manner, collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
- Establish and maintain an organized system for managing design documents, including version control, distribution, and archiving.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design solutions while maintaining project objectives and budget constraints.
- Preparation of BOQ and finalizing quantity from GFC drawing.
- Check and approve SHOP drawings prepared by sub-contractors, get it approved from the client.
- Good knowledge of Building Construction/Infrastructure is a must.
