JPL operates a 3400 MW thermal power plant in Tamnar, establishing itself as one of the largest private power producers in India. The power plant boasts advanced and environmentally friendly infrastructure, including the Cross Country Pipe Conveyor, facilitating coal transportation from commercial coal mines to the power plant via a dedicated 7.1 km conveyor system. JPL’s commercial coal mines include Gare Palma IV/1, Gare Palma IV/2&3, and Gare Palma Sector I, with expansions and total capacities. Additionally, JPL operates coal washeries with a total capacity of 11 MTPA.
